Learn the basics of the traditional method of Hawaiian Quilting!

Carrying on the tradition of her great-grandmother Hannah K´umililani Cummings Baker, Nicole loves to share the beauty that is Kapa. Hawaiian Applique is a very relaxing and fulfilling art.

In this class, you will learn the basics of the Hawaiian Applique. From pattern choice to placement, needle turn applique, and hand quilting the traditional Hawaiian way. During the class, you will learn more about the origin of this craft, some fun Hawaiian terminology, and lore. By the end of this class, you will have completed a wall hanging and will be well on your way to starting your next handwork project.
